The platform displays availability and rates supplied by independent rental operators on Madeira. Your booking advance secures the reservation. Terms governing pick-up procedures, vehicle condition standards, permitted driving areas, fuel policy, mileage allowances, insurance coverage levels, deposit requirements at the counter, and return protocols are set by the supplier and detailed in the voucher you receive after confirmation.

Rodavia is not party to the rental contract. Disputes regarding vehicle condition, billing, charges applied at the counter, or service quality should be addressed first with the supplier. We provide contact details in every voucher to assist with resolution, but legal responsibility rests with the operator named in your documentation.

Booking Process and Modifications

Reservations become binding once you receive voucher confirmation via email to the address you provided. Cancellation and amendment policies vary by supplier and booking type; rules applicable to your reservation are stated in the voucher. Changes requested after confirmation may incur fees or require rebooking depending on supplier terms and vehicle availability.

Information displayed on the site reflects data provided by suppliers. While we work to maintain accuracy, specifications, features, and availability can change. Always verify critical details in your voucher before travel.

User Conduct and Liability

You agree to provide accurate information during booking and to comply with the supplier's terms, Madeira traffic regulations, and applicable laws. Misuse of the platform, submission of fraudulent details, or chargebacks initiated without valid cause may result in denial of future service.

Rodavia holds no liability for delays, vehicle defects, accidents, fines, third-party claims, or losses arising during the rental period. The supplier's insurance and contractual terms govern such matters. We recommend reviewing coverage options carefully and retaining all documentation provided at pick-up.

Amendments to Terms

These terms may be updated to reflect operational changes or legal requirements. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance. For bookings already confirmed, the terms in effect at the time of reservation apply unless material changes require consent.
